| Reserved Generals. (2011 Year)
Steve F : Child of Alara
Aiden : Sun Quan, Lord of Wu
Scott : Kuro, Pitlord
Volpe : Baron Sengir
Dave C : Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind
Mike: Captain Sisay
Brandyn: Maga, Traitor to Mortals
Alex: Kaalia of the Vast
Bob: Scion of the Ur-Dragon
Tyler: Kami of the Crescent Moon
Sean: Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund
Josh: Ghave, Guru of Spores
Anne: Sygg, River Guide
Please feel free to post a general to reserve it here. You can only have 1 RESERVED at a time, which entitles you to priority during group play.

| Added. And ya, you can RESERVE one, doesn't mean you can't have more decks. Or else I'll run around reserving fun things like Akroma. Reserving can be changed at any time, and we might allow for more than 1 reserve, I'll ask Steve | |

| A little more on the reserving of generals (it seemed like a few people were kind of questioning it); at one point I had Progenitus as my general. But this didn't mean others couldn't use him as their general at all. It just meant that if for some reason i -really- wanted to play with my registered general, I'd have the right to play him over the unregistered person. This is in effect due to EDH's "League Rule". This states (as of 09/18/09) - http://www.dragonhighlander.net/rules.php wrote:
- An EDH "League" consists of a regular group of players who frequently play together using the same decks. No two players in a league game may have the same General. Within a given league, Generals are allocated first-come, first-serve and are preserved between meetings/games. No player may have, in his or her deck, the General of any other player in the game; it should be replaced with some other card before the game begins.
PS. I made this a sticky since we should know what generals are taken and what are free game. | |

| While we do use this ruling for reserving generals in order to keep the matches interesting (for example, seeing 8 Akroma decks would get tiring after a while), I would like to point out that we do not use the "no other player may use another player's general in their deck" clause unless they wish to swap it out. For example, one of my decks' generals is Arcanis the Omnipotent. I know that Aiden runs him in one of his EDH decks. If Aiden and I were playing these decks together, he may either: A) choose to replace his Arcanis with another card, or B) run him in the deck, knowing that if both are in play at the same time, General rules dictate that his non-general Arcanis would be sent to the graveyard as a state-based effect. This way, you have the flexibility to play what you like, whether it be a potentially volatile creature or something else entirely in those choice games. | |

| Bouncing it might be tricky, unless it already dodged a removal that turn. | |

| Nah, I can't run enough copies of cards in EDH that can take away defender ... or if I can I don't know many of them. Should just be an off the wall, different and fun deck. | |

| why would you take away defender? just got with the mycosynth lattice/darksteel forge approach.... have an army of indestructible walls with a few win conditions that are not via damage... unless you swing in with your general =/ | |
