Really interesting article on a proposed format. One that I am pretty sure I'd support. Who else would play Modern if it became an official format?

edit: Just realized Modern would be an eternal format, not a current format, so this should be moved to the Eternal Formats. Thanks mod.

So, who's building for Modern? Proxying, actual building, speculating, watching card prices? So much to do when a new eternal format hits, it's exciting!

I probably won't build anything for modern.

I may consider it once Zendikar leaves standard in a few weeks since I have really enjoyed my vampire deck and this would allow me to keep playing it and add some new twists to the deck so its a possibility.

I'm trying to get rid of my Modern stuff. Waiting for prices to stabilize first.

I have decks that qualify for Modern. What're the chances of that deck making a splash in the format? I feel like without a heavy money investment I would just get squashed.

Rogue decks tend to pop up more in Modern so who knows really.

Hm, interesting. Are there any Modern tourneys in the Oshawa region?

Not that I'm aware of, but it could be an idea for an event next semester?

And that's probably because people have had "old extended" decks lying around that they fiddled with after it rotated, and they are still semi/fully competitive

I had one extended deck. Is Martyr Proc/Idiot Life played in Modern?

If I found somewhere to play it, I suppose. I could put the band back together.

Shame it can't run banding.

You could test it against some of the tribal decks, since they will be mostly modern

But banding is Aiden's thing. Razz

Mmm, I could, but I don't really feel up to it. I should just turn it into trade bait. We'll see.
