| I play casual usually, but I stick to a format to keep it fair. Generally that format's either Standard or Extended. I draft in standard all the time, although that may change in the times to come. | |

| Casual, have some tourney decks, have some Vintage, extended.
No standard though, I haven't really played since after Timespiral... so everything is Ravnica Cycle. | |

| The different formats describe which sets are allowed in each. Standard, also known as "type 2" is the latest 2 "blocks" and usually consist of the most recent core set and the most recent 6 sets or so. Extended goes back as far as Onslaught at the moment, and Legacy and Vintage is every set with different ban/restricted lists. But don't worry too much about it for now, we allow any deck as far back as Legacy so unless you're playing some ridiculously retarded vintage deck we don't mind ^_^ | |

Well, if you ever wanted to learn more about the eternal formats, ask any of us and we would be happy to help. If you wanted to sample the format, either borrow one of our decks or find a build you like online and proxy it (ive done that in the past, its so i dont end up buying an entire deck before i know if i even like it) | |
