Ravager Affinity in Legacy

So I'm thinking about backtracking my Ravager Affinity deck into Legacy format so I've got a decent deck to use against you old-time players that can't seem to keep up with the new fancypants formats, any hints on what to include (that are affordable)?

Any specific colours you want to focus on when not playing artifacts?

It runs blue/black/red. I can add small splashes of each colour. Right now it's running a set of each of disciples for black, shrapnel blasts for red, and thoughtcasts for blue.

sounds similar to my build (an oldy T2 version moded slightly) cut 2 of the shrapnals while awsome you don't want them early game.

my suggestions

My deck runs almost identical to that, except:

A) I run 4 shrapnel blasts, because you ALWAYS want at least one in your hand
B) I don't run Atogs because I dislike them
C) I don't know what DotV is
D) I don't own any Nexuses or else I'd run them. I'm looking for them but not actively searching at the moment

I kinda like the R/B/G build I saw online with Berserks, but I really don't want to shell out $400 for a playset u.u

whenever an artifact goes to the grave yard you may have target opponent lose 1 life.

common from MRD and a stable MUST have for this deck. the concept of sacing artifacts to the ravager while having your opponent lose life is sweet. also gives you the opption of just sacing everything you have for thoughs small last points of damage.

lol, you mean Disciple of the Vault. I've never seen someone acronymize it before. I just call 'em Disciples, and yes I run 4. It's what forces my deck into Legacy, otherwise it's Extended legal. Unfortunately, the reason the deck's so busted is because of that lovely common.

Atog, probably. It's a 2/2 creature for 2R with "Sacrifice an artifact: Atog gets +2/+2 until end of turn." It works alright but the problem is with the lack of permanency, transfer of power, and the restriction of it being Red, and not an artifact itself.

use it and improve it.

Aether Vial is amazing, dont' take it out, colour fixes for Disciple of the Vault and who wants to actually pay mana for there artifact creatures? helps get down ranenger and makes your stuff not be countered.
