Baddeck game!

Hey everyone! Got a random idea from Volpe.

Basically, the general idea is to build the worst deck that you can build. Use
all of those horrible cards that you'd look at and be like "eww, why would I run
this?"... Well now you know where and why you would! Here!
Remember, the deck still needs to function. Not well by any means though.


Here's some examples of some pretty bad cards:
Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore
Hunding Gjornersen
Lord Magnus
Gaea's Skyfolk
Spell Snip
Fumarole
Dandân
Storm Crow
Castle Sengir
Koskun Keep
Frost Marsh
Reign of Terror

You probably get the picture right about now...


Basically some rules for the baddeck format are:
-Needs to be at LEAST 3 different colours.
-No 4-of's other than basic land!! (you may have 3-of's though!)
-No good lands, we're going budget here boys. I don't even wanna see the shards of alara tri-lands.
-No power creep. First tarmogoyf I see you get hurt.
-No tier'd cards I guess you could say. We're looking for bad here.

I think these will make this casual and slow enough to suck and be funny.

I ran the U/W tapped snow land in a tournament once...

I guess I'll go grab the stuff I got from the rare redraft...

When building a Baddeck; I generally find a card I want to run (Ie: Counterspell), find a worse version (Ie: Force Spike), then find an even worse one (Ie: Runeboggle) and there we have it.

Same process went for Fumarole. I thought of a good card (Ie: Wrecking Ball), then I made it worse (Ie: Desecrated Earth), then I went one step beyond (Ie: Fumarole).

Its pretty much about finding fun cards or cards that are too bad to play in a real game.

My deck's all done! I plan on bringing it Wednesday lol.

My deck is done too, well, except for the jackal pups, i forgot to put them in. After that though, my 69 card deck is ready for soem bad games

Dave, Jackal Pup used to be tier 1...its got 3.9/5 on Gatherer

So did Ihsan's Shade and Solkanor the Swamp King

I know, it was in one of the first decks to pay attention to the mana curve


The only reason I'm using it now, is because its power is well dated with cards like goblin guide running around.
