Mono black Vampire deck (standard)

Hey guys again just looking for some input on my vampire deck list before I go ahead and start building the main body of it.

The overall goal is to force the force the other players life total down using the abilities of all the vampires.
To burn the player with things like malikar bloodwitch, blood seeker, pulse tracker, sign in blood,piranha marsh,ect while using vampire nighthawks death touch to defend as well as go for the throat. Awonon is tossed in to pick away at the opponents defence and Urge to feed is put in play to beef up the vampires for when an opening presents itself to attack.

Again any input is welcome and I'd like to hear any suggestions. Sadly this deck falls out of standard come this fall if memory serves so at that point I would have a lot more flexability card wise I would imagine. Until then though I'm hoping to get it up an running provided no one points out any major flaws.

Sounds similar yet different to my vamp build. Very nice. Note on urge to feed, it is much much better used as a defensive tactic. Because you can declare blockers, cast urge to feed, and tap all your blockers to pump them all by 1. This allows you to effectively trade your measly 1/1 with a 5/5. And a 1/1 can survive an attack from a 4/4 head on. Then the rare case of 3 1/1's taking out a 9/9. It's a nastry trick. Enjoy.

Ha that is a dirty trick ! I could already see how funny that would be if it occured to a 9/9 attacker

It might work. I use to run mono-black vamps. When I splashed in red, nothing was the same again. If you still have the deck, I'm willing to have a go at it with my vamp deck.

Yah I still have the deck. I'll be sure to bring it to the first meeting as I wouldn't mind play testing it against other vamps.
