mental magic?

Hi guys any of you play mental magic?

want to get some Mental magic going?


(to thoughs of you who do not know what mental magic is.... its a format where you play your card either as face down any color lands and the cards in your hand are ANY card with the same mana cost EXCEPT the card they are unless your opponent doens't know antoher card with that exact casting costl

Mental magic is specal casual format similar to peasant.


you have one big block of random cards (doesn't matter what they are as long as they are random and different) that both players use as their "deck"

then you start to play a game of magic with a twist.

you may play ANY card face down and it acts as a land that can produce any color mana but does not count as a swamp forest island ect

you then play your cards. each card can be ANY card with that exact mana cost except what is written on it unless neither you OR your opponent can name a different card with that mana cost. when a card goes to the grave yard it revert back to its orignal "card". for odious reasons any tutor's or deck manipulations is banned in this format. (example top and brainstorm)

Example if i have 2 of my "lands" down I could play a bear (1G 2/2 normal card) and say its a goyf. I could play peek (u look at target players hand) and say it was recall (u draw 3 cards) it really tests your knowlege of the game.

Ah I see. Sounds interesting, although I'm not the kind of person that could think on my feet that well

its a great way if remembering what some of the better cards are via casting cost.
