Im thinking of making a mono black edh deck, and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a black general?

one that is not in use, and possibly one that deals with discard or loss of life. and preferably not too expensive

Ask Bob for his gigantic monoblack General list he uses in his deck. Or that Mythic from Zendikar, he's pretty bitchin'.
