You might wanna check up the rulings on EDH builds. Your colors can only be of your general, which means if you run Timmy you're stuck on mono-green. As for the rest, well good luck finding unglued cards, they're hard to come by.

Does this include artifacts though?

...maybe I'll stick to a 60 card deck for this.

If the artifact includes a colour (like a Tidehollow Sculler) then it does need to be within your colours (in that case you'd need white and black). If the artifact is something like a Blade of the Bloodchief and has NO colours, then EVERY EDH deck is able to run it.

Another example is with Bosh, Iron Golem, you would need to have red as part of your generals casting cost. (Yes this means that you can NOT use Bosh, Iron Golem or Memnarch as your general... ever). For same reason as what I just stated, should you be running a mono-green general, you would not be allowed to run an island (the island will read as {T}: Add {U} to your mana pool, thus disallowing it since it has {U}).
